I think it's wonderful that you're going to allow us to read your thoughts by writing a blog while you're up there, and I'm looking forward to reading your entries. It looks like the ISS will be passing over my part of the world while you're onboard, so I'll go find somewhere dark to watch you fly over and give you a wave... maybe you'll be looking out a porthole at the same time... :-) Seriously tho, leaving aside the obvious and very welcome political relevence of your flight, as someone who is involved in space and science Outreach education here in the UK, and who is on an (unspoken and unofficial!) personal crusade to encourage more girls to follow careers in science and astronomy, I am thrilled by your mission and your support of space exploration in general.
