  5. Anousheh e azizam, I am really proud of you. You basically made my dream true. I always dreamed to be an astronaut, but I am glad you did it. I am always crying when I am reading your blog from Long Long distance… WOW! How could that be possible?! just enjoy every moment of your life far from the bloody earth. Be calm and just enjoy it. (you are one of us, please look at out instead of all of us. )
    I love you always and I wish all be the bests… (I am a PhD student in the University of Toronto in Mechanical Engineering)

    Neda Ansari Gh(hope)eh, in other words, esfooni
    P.S. I found the thermodynamic equivalent to Peter’s “fire question.” It took me an hour, but I had to do some (wo)manly stuff like take care of the kids, wash the dishes, etc…(did enjoy them too).

    Fire = S*(0)….Star
    Where S = Spark, not “entropy” (entropy in thermodynamics = chaos)
    ….= leading
    Star = Anousheh
    (don’t fire me yet please)

    Where’s Tahmineh Milani, Niki Karimi, Dr. Ebadi, Hillary Clinton, Oprah, my mom? Etc. Come on girls….
    (Peter, you’re a pro – i mean bro – thanks for playing the game :)) And thanks ali joon (my hubby) for being a good sport.

    You just take me out of this chaotic world with your wonderful exploration… I feel how much you are close to our mind and at the same time far far far to the earth…
    I’m tired at a end of a very busy working day and have no chance to see the environment the way you are experiencing right now, but very fortunate to make this amazing virtual connection with you up there… by looking at your wonderful picture and the apple!!! I feel GREAT!!! Honestly God I feel Great… God bless you and thank you for cheer me up.

  12. So on the subject of Astronauts for President, what is the story on Michael L. A.? Is he a Democrat or Republican? From his Bio sounds like he’d be perfect for Political Office after having been to the Kennedy School. We definitely need someone with a global perspective.

    I’m so happy money can bring happiness to people ; by showing all around the world something we will never do. I’m so happy that all news all around the world is showing this space adventure as an exemple of courage and determination. I’m sure people with no medication, water, food or even liberty will appreciate this demonstration of…waste.

    Thanks for us !

    No story for those on the big messy bed of earth tonight!
    How can we go to sleep then? Ok, I’ll tell a story, don’t come back yet! earth is more beautiful from where you see it! as you said, no border, no war! but from here I can see; people are bombing and killing each other either for oil, for religion, or for something else! such a nightmare! children are starving in Africa. Oh, I wish i were there with you far from all these! up-date the diary please, we are waiting!

    So only the world and the people could live in friendship and in love as on this international station, the life here low would be more optimistic and one could be concerned only about culture and love.
    Good luck from the clouds.

    We admire your efforts in inspiring our generation in Space Science. It was wonderful to watch Newton’s Apple ‘floating’ due to different G-effect.

    Thru your blog , lot of students are learning new things in Space with ‘fun’ and becoming interested in Space Science.

    Whenever time permits after returning to Earth, how about taking Space Education World Tour, just stop by in Dubai (City of Gold, and home of Emirates Airline!).

    My daughters Kriti Agarwal & Priyanka Agarwal from Arizona very much appreciate your blogging work. We also feel that your have enhanced the expectation from Space Tourist to share live experience thru Information Technology.

  80. Hi Anousheh

    Good for you — the world NEEDS more women like you. We have to promote basic common sense and equality for all women in this modern age where sadly, some ppl seem to want women to only be kitchen slaves. Women can be so much more than baby machines, like you are proving today. Once again, good for you, Anousheh!
    Enjoy. I wish I was up there, too.

    Regards, Tom from Canada
