Hello there,

I've posted a comment this morning (MEST) but it's not coming through - the number of comments on "Wonderful ride" sticks to 25. Does this mean that the blog is closed and comments will no longer appear?

If this really was the last article, perhaps you can close with an appropreate picture of Anousheh "in action" or something?

Thank you folks for everything you did to make this possible!

I'm Farzaneh Foroozan. 13. im half Filipino
half iranian but i live and grew up in
Port harcourt, Nigeria.
Here in Portharcourt, there are only
2iranian families..mine and another family
the husband is iranian and wife is filipino
just like my parents.
in the future, i dream to become a journalist
because i love talking to the public
i do a lot of stage presentations
i became the MC of a lot of shows here
especially in school.
im in grade 10. for our english exams
we have written and oral tests. for the oral we have to
make a 2minute speech infront of everyone
from grade 7-10 and some teachers will judge us
and give us a mark over 10.
next week, im having the english exam presentation.
the topic is that we should talk about someone
famous that has achieved something very great.
i have two people i thought about
the first minute.
You and Khanum Shirin Ebadi.
right now im doing researching on the internet about you
and i swer a while ago i was nearly in tears!
reading your life story was very touching..and very inspiring
i first heard about you on CNN
with my father we watched it.
and i saw your videos.
really, my heart lifts up when i hear you speak
so clearly, slow and amazingly.
so im just letting you know
that even here, im a little iranian girl in Nigeria
you do make a difference at least to one person
in this part of the world.
i told my parents that i would love to work as a journalist
in the middle east, preferable kuwait..because
the political issues and religious conflicts
are very interesting...
and i'd love to be like Aneesh Raman who reports from Tehran
all the time.
im proud to have you representing us females
and i wish you mooooore success and all the best!
some day too, i wish that when i be a journalist
i can interview all those women in iran
and make them speak out
and be heard by all over the world
and a change can be made. hopefully.
i love you!
take care.
please, if you would like to tell me something,
my email is [received].

our english presentation is really that we need to research on
interviews with that famous person.
i cant interview you since i dont have any contact information
but im looking at your interviews with other great
journalists. but maybe if i get lucky, i would end up doing a real interview with you thru chatting or emailing, and that would be very helpful and a great job for my exam!
thank you
bye

Hello Ground Ops,

On the 20th (possibly the 21st not absolutely sure) October I made a posting in response to Anoushehs 'Goodbye Star City / My Speech' entry on here.

It would appear that my comments havn't been accepted as I don't see them on the blog.

However in my posting I did make reference to to url that pointed to some pictures of Anousheh at the Welcome Back ceromony that she writes about in her entry.

I thought those pictures would be (and will still be) of interest to all of the people who followed her journey on here so although you may not find my whole posting acceptable for inclusion on here (and I can't understand why if that is the case) perhaps you might like to publish the url anyway so that others can at least see a little of what went on during Anoushehs return to Star City.

In any event thanks for all the good work on here and I'll see if I can't say a goodbye to Anousheh following her final blog entry..and I'll hope that one makes it through.

Kind regards to all.

Thanks for searching, James. It was on NASA TV, the pre-launch activities, probably shot by the Russian Space Agency -- Anousheh is walking, and she suddenly turns to camera and gives the Vulcan salute. Of all the screen grabs missed, this is the most regrettable. You don't win the "prize" but you get Honorable Mention for trying!

Hello,

I searched and searched and searched for the VULCAN sign giving by our dear lady, but I was unable to find one as you mentioned. Did anyone find one? I know it is on tape somewhere, but I could not gain access to it, let alone know who to ask.

Thanks.
