Except for the T-word in the headline, this is a great story from a press conference in Star City, Russia today — accompanied by a slide show that is also great.

Yahoo! News: Space tourist longs to head back to stars

Thanks — and a slightly belated Happy Birthday to — for the great and free invention used on the sidebar here (and on to display a sample of news stories about Anousheh’s Excellent Adventure.

And a very special thanks to Google for the excellent and free News Alerts service from More Google Products.

Google Language Tools are also handy!

  2. Salaam Anousheh jan,

“Enjoy yourself, or try to learn – you will annoy someone.
If you do not, you will annoy someone.”

    Ay baradar! Ay khahar!
Wherever we turn, there is praise and blame,
yet neither is of any real consequence
    compared to the Heart’s knowing.
To be beyond both and simply Ttrue is to be free.
Though Truth still knocks on the door to be lived.
Oops! You mean i can’t just sit here?
Dance! . . . the rest will work itself out.

After reading your blog and the responses of each day, I was struck by the radiance of the overwhelming majority of those who wrote. Fascinating! If you watch the news, the world is too often painted as a dark place. What I have seen pour onto your site tells the truest of all stories. Mark Twain said, “Most of us have had terrible, horrible lives, most of which never happened.” LOL!!! Mash’Allah, the special ones have gathered around you. In the midst of the challenges of life, they are telling the most beautiful of stories. The heart penetrates through all apparent barriers :->

Anousheh, I too have a dream to bring to fruition. Will you take a peek? Pretty please :->
Take a look at my Board. You may recognize a face . . .

    Khoda negahdar.

  3. I have heard that after returning Earth, austronauts, who stays in ISS for long period of time, should do some special exercises to adapt their body to gravity. What kind of exercises are they? and how many days should you spend to come back to normal physical condition? considering you have been there only 9 days.
